Welcome to my website!

My name is Nadine and I live in Humbeek (Grimbergen) but I am a child of the sea. I am married and have a son, two daughters and three grandsons. I was taught to do handicrafts at an early age. I learned to crochet from one grandmother, and knit from another grandmother. I found nothing more enjoyable than making the most beautiful outfits for my Barbies.

When I was about 15 I wanted to learn how to sew, I didn't have a machine so I sewed my first skirt completely by hand. I soon got my first sewing machine and took evening classes in 'clothing'. This machine literally gave up the ghost, completely burned out from all the use. After my studies I got a new sewing machine and bought a knitting machine with my first salary. In the 90s I came into contact with patchwork, a new world opened up for me! That would be my main focus for the following years. In 2007 I started as a self-employed person in a secondary occupation and I worked out knitting patterns for Libelle Creatief. Since then I have also given workshops and demos in stores.

In 2013 I decided to also organize workshops at home. This is still my main activity now, besides the workshops in the Naaimachinewinkel in Mechelen and occasionally a workshop at Toffe Stoffen in Blankenberge. The following workshops are on the program: sewing, patchwork, overlock and knitting machine lessons. I look forward to meeting you soon in one of my workshops at my home or on location!
